Whether it’s a sports stadium, a music festival or an inside concert Safety is paramount at any event and it is our job to ensure everything runs smoothly.
We are a top scoring SIA Approved contractor security and training provider that believes that when you appoint a security company, you’ll be looking for certain assurances.
We are please to say that Gardant Security ticks all of these boxes, but our commitment to Quality, Safety and Service goes beyond this collection of “badges and awards” – It informs everything that we do, wherever we are!
These points along with our sustainable growth strategy and Career Development Pathway led us to be recognized as best new business in N. Devon’s business awards 2016.
We are big enough to Cope (with any provision) but still small enough to Care (about our customers).
Ollie created Gardant Security in January 2014 after managing the keyholding and response services for one of the UK’s largest Security companies.

Kev joined the security industry after a 12 year career in the British Army. His work has ranged from guarding tins of baked beans to looking after Prince Edward at the Commonwealth Games in 2014 and everything in between.
After 10 years in the industry he moved into a trainer and assessor role and provided training services to some of the largest security companies (Securitas, Corps Security and Show & Event) and most prestigious events in the UK (Queens Tennis tournament, London Stadium and Royal Ascot)
Kev has bought this experience and expertise into Gardant Security with the remit to support Ollie in the growth of the company, setting up Gardant Training Academy, ensuring the operational side of the company runs smoothly becoming an integral part of ensuring Gardant meets its full potential.
Sarah joined the company in 2017 (after completing her DS course with us!) after working in various administration roles for a number of blue chip companies. Sarah is responsible for managing the administration of the company and controls our BS 7858 screening program. She was instrumental in ensuring that gardant Security received a very high scored during our annual Approved Contractor (ACS) audits.

Sean is the Devon and Cornwall Area Manager for Gardant Security Ltd.
After serving 9 years in the Royal Artillery, Sean quickly found himself suited to work in the Security Industry and soon after met Ollie and started working for Gardant Security as a Door Supervisor.
Drawing on the values and standards he had learned in his Military career, he quickly stood out as an exceptional operative. After a few contracts and events in supervisory roles (including a period during the lockdown on a retail site where Sean both advised on and then implemented a queue and crowd control system) Sean was then selected “from the ranks” to become the Area Manager.
Sean believes in the core values of the Gardant ethos and strives to uphold the standards that Ollie and Kev set through dedication, hard work and a pair of shiny boots!
