SIA Licence - Training Courses
Level 2 Award for CCTV Operators (Public Space Surveillance) in the Private Security Industry (RQF) POA
Guided learning hours: 30 hours – 3 days (with some pre- course study)
This qualification will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for those working, or interested in working, as a CCTV Operator within the Private Security Industry and require an SIA Licence to Practice. The qualification will support a role in the workplace.
Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (RQF) POA
Guided learning hours: 44 hours – 6 days (with some pre- course study)
This qualification is intended for learners who work or want to work as Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry and require an SIA Licence to Practice. This qualification will support a role in the workplace. And will coverer Roles and responsibilities within the Private Security and as a Door Supervisor, Conflict management and Physical Intervention (Theory and Practical).
Gardant Can provide the 1 day Emergency First Aid at Work course for additional cost of £49.
Level 2 Award for Security Officers in the Private Security Industry (RQF) POA
Total Qualification time: 42 hours – 4 days (with some pre- course study)
This qualification will provide the skills, knowledge and understanding necessary for those working, or interested in working, as a Security Officer within the Private Security Industry and require an SIA Licence to Practice. The qualification will support a role in the workplace.
Level 2 Award for Door Supervisors in the Private Security Industry (TOP UP) RQF POA
Guided learning hours: 17 hours – 2 days (with some pre- course study)
This qualification is intended for learners who already hold an SIA Door Supervisor licence and are required to complete the ‘Top up’ training prior to re-licencing effective from 1st October 2021. This qualification is available from 1st April 2021 provide lead in time to this change. Please note that a pre-requisite is that all learners attending this course must have either attended a formally recognised First Aid qualification prior to attending, or, hold an existing First Aid qualification which has no less than 12 months validity remaining on the first date of the course.
